Honor has released its new tablet, the Pad GT 2 Pro, in China, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Available in two colors—Ice Crystal White and Phantom Grey—it offers up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The tablet features a 12.5-inch 3K LCD display with a top refresh rate of 165 Hz, making it ideal for smooth gameplay and fast navigation. Under the hood, it carries a large 10,100 mAh battery and supports 66 W fast charging.
The starting version with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage costs CNY 2,499 (around ₹30,000). Other models include:
8 GB + 256 GB for CNY 2,699 (₹32,000)
12 GB + 256 GB for CNY 2,999 (₹36,000)
16 GB + 512 GB for CNY 3,399 (₹40,000)
These options give users flexibility to choose the right balance of speed and storage based on their needs.
The Honor Pad GT 2 Pro runs on MagicOS 9.0.1, based on Android 15. Its display supports seven refresh rates: 165, 144, 120, 90, 60, 48, and 30 Hz, reaching 1,000 nits peak brightness and an 89% screen-to-body ratio. The tablet is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
For photos and video calls, it includes a 13 MP rear camera (f/2.0, autofocus) and an 8 MP front camera (f/2.0, fixed focus). Audio is strong with eight speakers and three microphones.
Connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, USB‑C, and OTG support. Sensors include accelerometer, gyroscope, gravity sensor, and hall sensor. Cooling is handled by Honor’s Ice Cooling system, featuring 13 layers that cover 44,203 mm² for heat dissipation.
The large 10,100 mAh battery fully charges in just 73 minutes with the 66 W charger. The tablet measures 277.8 × 190.9 × 5.95 mm and weighs 532 grams, making it lightweight and easy to carry. This latest Pad GT 2 Pro aims to combine top-tier performance with stylish design and strong battery life.
